BAD Sydney Crime Writers Festival has just announced the short list for this year’s Danger Prize, for the best book, podcast, TV series or film about crime and Sydney, published in the past financial year. The prize will be awarded by last year’s winner, John Ibrahim, at the Sydney Crime Writers Festival on 6 September (see badsydney.com.au).
An interesting addition this year is podcasts, including controversial The Teacher’s Pet, which has been downloaded internationally over 50 million times. Could be hard to beat, despite some sterling competition.
